As Donny said, i think we’re the last of the food bloggers to visit Momofuku Milk Bar, but after seeing the movie the Hurt Locker (quite good, but a victim of its hype) we were looking for a snack in the area and we headed over to the Milk Bar. I was tempted by the soft serve but I wanted something more substantial, like cake. I opted for the Dulce de Leche flavor, and they cut a slice from a gigantic mountain of a cake. The cake itself was on the dry side (I guess I should have gotten some milk along with it) though the different layers of frosting were delicious.

It’s burger and cake day!!

Started the day early since it was a long drive out to Santa Monica. We were going to have lunch at The Counter, a burger place that my older sister had gone to many times and had tempted me with her photos many times. Finally it’s my turn to try this place and see how just good this place is.
