Denny’s All Nighter
I’ve always liked going to Denny’s, especially 1 or 2 in the morning. Nothing like having breakfast for late late dinner. My favorite has always been the Grand Slam breakfast with an Oreo shake. Too bad there isn’t one here in NYC.
Last Wednesday I was able to attend Denny’s All Nighter, thanks to my sister. What is Denny’s All Nighter? I’m still not quite sure what it is but they have invited few bands, Taking Back Sunday, Plain White T’s and few others into their kitchen and create their very own dish. These items will soon appear in your local Denny’s late night menu. At the event it was all you can eat Denny’s and open bar, SWEET!! A glass of red wine with your bacon burger and onion rings? Jack and coke with nachos? So that night I had Plain White T’s Plain White shake which had white chocolate syrup and cheesecake (it was actually kind of good). Taking Back Sunday came up with Taking Back Burger Fries which was okay but I’m sure if it was served fresh (hhm…Denny’s and fresh) it would be pretty good. Jesse Hughes from Eagles of Death Metal made heart shaped pancakes with strawberry and chocolate syrup topped with white chocolate 
chips, it looked cute. I wonder why they didn’t serve any Moons Over My Hammy but instead a mini bacon burger with saute chopped onions with onion rings.
