Anthi’s at Brooklyn Flea
Posted by: Howard
Among the more celebrated food vendors at the new location of the Brooklyn Flea we found Anthi’s. Anthi’s is a purveyor of Greek food that you can find at a few of the street festivals around the city — I last encountered them at 7th Heaven. While my friends were chowing down on lobster rolls and tamales, I had an excellent zucchini pie (they described it as the “lesser-known” version of spanikopita). Well seasoned, flaky and crunchy, it was the perfect lunchtime snack. I also had a wedge of baklava, which was a little dry and overly sweet.
