If you’re in NYC this month, you should definitely stop by the Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill. The newest creation by British artist Banksy aims to challenge the way we treat animals, including those animals we eat.

As Michael Pollan would no doubt delight in pointing out, there’s nothing natural about a chicken nugget, and their appearance in a barnyard is as funny as it is disturbing. My favorite piece is the fishbowl, complete with swimming fish sticks. Beautiful and powerful — isn’t that the goal of all art?
